What I No Longer Buy (And Don’t Miss)

Minimalism isn't just about owning fewer things—it's about spending with intention.

Over the past year, I’ve quietly stopped buying a handful of items. Not out of restriction, but relief. I didn’t need them. I just thought I did.

Here’s a short list of what I’ve let go of—and haven’t looked back:

  1. Scented candles every month
    I loved the vibe, but now I rotate just two I truly enjoy.

  2. Trendy notebooks I never finish
    One high-quality journal does the job—and feels better to write in.

  3. Seasonal throw pillows
    Cute? Yes. But storage and clutter? No, thank you.

  4. Cheap accessories
    I prefer a few timeless pieces I actually wear.

  5. Duplicate apps & subscriptions
    Goodbye to that 4th meditation app. I kept the one that works.

Intentional choices feel like freedom.
You don’t need to deprive yourself—you just get to decide what truly adds value.
